Arabic bread.
We believe that bread is at the heart of any Middle Eastern menu – indeed, it’s impossible to imagine a table of meze without it. There are quite a few types, but the best known is probably what we have come to call ‘pitta’ bread. This is what we opted for as soon as we opened, and we bake it fresh every day. Every guest receives pitta bread with their meal, but extra bread can be ordered as required. In the Middle East it is usually used in place of cutlery (but we’ve got plenty of cutlery too).
